Well, yeah! I am Pagan and Proud! And hey, who wouldn't want to spend time chewing the fat with Virgil, Homer, and babies?
Not sure what answers scored me "moderate" on "violent" though, unless it was the one time I tried suicide...

I took a mythology class in college, and the professor had done his owwn translation of The Divine Comedy, straight from the Italian (Some of my fellow students didn't like him much, thought he acted like a big fish in a small pond, but ttuth is, he would be a big fish in any pond).
We had to read the whole thing: Inferno, Purgatorio, and Paradiso. And while I do not agree with the theology of Dante, I really have to admire his writing. The whole of thing is written almost entirely in dialogue, and in Inferno, he has all the sinners speak for themselves -- defending themselves against their punishment. And yet, he makes their characters so clear (and individualized) that it leaves no doubt in the reader's mind that they deserve what they got.
All this while he was in exile, and having to sleep in a different place each night...
