No, indeed. You're a little 'edgier' than I am, I think.

I also think that these quizzes give me certain results simply because I don't fit with any of the other choices.

And this quiz also has a rather limited view of each animal's attributes... completely ignoring the trickster side of Hare, which is, to be fair, most pronounced in the cultures of West Africa (whence the African-American tales of B'rer Rabbit outwitting B'rer Fox -- and from there to Bugs Bunny ;-)), so there's a good chance that the author of this quiz didn't know that...

On the other hand, the Rabbit/Hare was the primary animal associated with the Dark Goddesses (Hecate in the Meditarian, and Ceridwen in Wales) before cats were brought to Europe from Egypt... The belief that a black cat walking alongside you is good luck, and crossing your path a warning against bad luck originally applied to hares.

I'd say that your daemon is really a cat, knowing you. But since "Cat" was not one of the choices, "Hare" had to play as stand in...

I read that. And the description of the wolf's attributes was the one I had the most trouble swallowing. Wolves are not solitary creatures. They care more about belonging to a pack than they do about food or even sex. Which is why dogs stay with owners that abuse them... even as they starve to death, instead of wandering off to find someone who would take better care of them... :-(

But i wonder what my real totem animal is.

It is the Dragon, surely! But the person who wrote this test is most likely laboring under the false impression that dragons are not real...
