Actually, I was just planning on making an icon, in the first place, and planning on using the contrast in levels of jpg blurriness to make an icon on the theme of "focus."

But, um... I liked the way it looked when in 800% zoom so much that I made a Big picture, instead.

And then I noticed one small patch in the Big Picture that looked like it had the right balance for an icon.

And this is it.

That's beautiful. As is the bigger image, I would never have even thought of doing that, I can't believe all the different shades you ended up with.

Thank you. It's an effect I first noticed, was baffled by, and eventually used, when I was making the picture of "Eloise, the Pro-fun Troll" from which this icon was resized.

I just kept on selecting the new shades of green (with the eyedropper tool), and using them with the airbrush tool to create the shadings and highlights on her cheeks and nose.

I just wish I could un dither the lettering on her birthday hat. ....

Maybe I'll remake this icon, now that I'm more adept at MSPaint than I was -- gosh? is it really 10 years ago, now?

Thank you. Given the season, and with gill-over-the-ground sprouting up all over my lawn, I was in the mood for some vernal colors and play.
