Still don't have the MSPaint chops to draw wings without the ability to do freehand curves...

I woke up today thinking I'd do a bird-fish chimera allsort to go with the cat-fish one I did last week.

But...

I was right to be intimidated by the wings; today was an exercise in: "I can't make it look right, no matter what I do!" frustration.

So, here: have an abstract design made with the colors I was going to use in my bird fish:



(The feathers were going to be blue and fuchsia; the scales were going to be green and yellowish)

Well, that's the frustrating thing:

I had the muse; I could see what I wanted in my head as clearly as if it had been outside my head. But I just didn't have the physical skill needed translate what I was imagining and put it on the computer screen.

Acutally, I got close. But then I forgot to save every fifteen minutes like I oughta, and when I was about 75% done, I hit a wrong keystroke, and lost nearly all of it.

And by then, I had monitor fatigue, and went to watch Nature and Mystery! and have dinner...

Indeed. But I like the colors I came up with, so I thought I would just chill and have fun with them.

I think, maybe, I'll snag some photos of birds with different wing positions, and play around with them in MS Paint, to learn how to slice and dice elipses so I can get exactly what I want.

Yeah... I know how it is when all your brain can do is lurk.

I'm glad I was able to make your day. I was kinda wondering about the taste of that joke, since real people have died / are dying.
