capri0mniThis morning, just before I woke up for real, I had a dream reminding me that today was the anniversary of my mother's death (Just in case I would have forgotten, otherwise... and frankly, I did kind of forget that today was actually the seventeenth).
Hard to believe it's been 18 whole years. Some days, it feels like just last month.
That first Samhain Season was especially hard to deal with, what with being at a university, and trying to come to terms with a real death, while surrounded by pop-culture images that spoofed death. The word "Sophomoric" means what it does for a reason, after all...
So, um... feeling kind of weird today... might feel weird tomorrow, too.
