So -- I opened an account with Zazzle.com
Mar. 29th, 2011 02:23 pmRemember how I was going to open a CafePress store, so I could sell mugs with the plotbunny design? Only CafePress wanted to stick a design for grown-up writers, specifically arranged to be perfect for a mug, on everything?
Well, Zazzle doesn't do that. They let you choose which designs go on which products ('cause, as they say in their own promotional blurbs, something that's funny on a beer stien would not be appropriate on a baby shirt).
So -- I've opened my account, but I've yet to design my "store". Originally, I wasn't going to do any shirts, but Audrey wants a matching set of shirts based on this design (one for her four-year-old client, and one for her -- like matching team shirts):

And then, there's the plot bunny design, and maybe my Hephestos-ADA design, and potentially other stuff, too. And I'm wondering what sort of unifying theme could tie it all together. It's not all Disability Rights. It's not all Writing. It's won't be just mugs, anymore... It wouldn't be all proverbs (or obscure Shakespeare quotes, or...) so -- Any ideas? Halp?

But since I posted this, I've been leaning toward somehow using the chimera in the name: "Chimera Corner"? or "Chimera Allsorts"? (Nix. The double "a" in the middle is awkward) "Chimericles?"
Something.
