A couple of years ago now, I admitted, in this space, that young men playing acoustic guitar make me happy. If I recall correctly, it was this video that inspired that comment:

I've had Five Foot Two as an ongoing earworm ever since I first heard it. ... I'm not complaining. :-)

I listened to it without headphones, and my partner got earwormed and found himself humming it from the kitchen. I don't think he minded :o)

That Songster is Lew Dite, a professional musician from Montreal. He's uploaded 1300+ videos to YouTube -- most of them musical. Here's a video of him singing another song that let me say with confidence that he is a grandfather -- not just an elder guy.

As I said to pebblerocker above, he's a musical scholar, and collects all sorts of stringed instruments. One of his videos is almost an hour long, giving a lecture to a college class of late-teen/twenty-somethings, where he demonstrates many of the different types of instruments and how they'd evolved from each other (I stayed up much too late, one night/morning to watch that). I think he put it up in September, last year...

BTW, the class was attentive, but they weren't as enthusiastic about the old-time music as I was /Whippersnapper-gripe.
