::::ARRRGGGHH!:::
Feb. 2nd, 2004 09:27 pmThe paperwork for my new van (In Arizona) is not done yet -- I need that paperwork here by Wednesday (as in day after tomorrow) night or very early Thursday morning in order to register it with the DMV in time for the trip.
Father and I have both been telling both the dealers involved (for 3 weeks now) that this is a rush job, and we need to leave in the van by the 6th... (actually, we're leaving Oh-Dark-Thirty on Sunday the 8th, but I've been pushing with the earlier date, in case this happens. The sixth is the absolute latest to work the paperwork, as the DMV is not open on the weekend).
(and the dealer in AZ has had our paperwork for nearly 2 weeks)
... methinks I'll be arriving at Gally in a rented van... (but I will be arriving). It'll be more expensive this way. But as I said in an earlier post, I see this trip as a major crossroads in my life, and one I have to attempt if I want my life to change.
...
When I told my aide the paperwork had not been mailed yet, she asked if I went balistic. But really -- what would that accomplish? If it could really turn back time and get the paperwork mailed last week instead of this week, I would have... but it can't, so...
It's frustrating. But I've done everything I can in my power to get this trip to move forward... So there is no sense fretting and worrying. What happens, happens.
