Last week I ordered a book (O Mother Sun!: A New View of the Cosmic Feminine by Patricia Monaghan), and I wanted to see if it had come. So I went out to check.

It had indeed come, so I've brought it inside to read it.

... I left the bills and junk mail that had also come in the mailbox. I'll deal with that stuff tomorrow...

I did find a copy of The Story of V, by the way. The campus bookstore has one. They want $35 CDN for it, and probably ordered it in special just so they could have one copy on the shelf. Big women's studies department here.

It still has the same cover. ^__^

I think you'll like the book... not only does she write clearly about the subject, she also makes no bones about actually liking her subject.

Surprising, really, how many adult writers write about sexuality as if it were icky-poo... or involve body parts they don't actually have, themselves ... ;-)
